TUTORING SERVICES
Tutors with ATG provide home based one-to-one tutoring. We have a team of professional, vetted, and qualified tutors. Our target audience is the exceptional or special student and this is why our tutors are retired special education teachers or grad students in OT/SLP/PT/LCSW type programs. We operate locally (North County San Diego Coastal and Inland, and occasionally Temecula and Murrieta) and offer in-home private one-to-one tutoring as well as virtual tutoring when appropriate.
MEET OUR TUTORING TEAM
CURRICULUM
We use a student’s pre existing curriculum, and are able to support across a range of subjects and grade levels. We willingly communicate with distance based educators to support the home programing. This time is outside of tutoring sessions and billed at a rate of $10 per 15 min increment.
PARENT EXPECTATIONS
We ask that a responsible adult is home and accessible in the event of emergencies for the duration of each tutoring session. We are not able to manage toileting needs, any care related to medical needs, or transportation at this time due to liability limitations.
OUR TUTORING RATES
Rates determined on a case by case basis and are adjusted based on need, duration, and frequency. We are also able, on a case by case basis, to determine a rate for a different block of tutoring hours.
We offer a free initial phone consultation when you first contact us where we will listen to your needs and concerns. During this consultation we will also obtain the relevant background information we require to select the most appropriate tutor to help your child achieve the academic goals. Tutoring will be provided in your home at a mutually available time that best suits your schedule. Please see the Covid-19 Procedures to learn how we protect both your family and the tutor during this unprecedented time, as well as the Covid-19 Liability Release Waiver that must be filled out prior to each tutoring session. Your tutor will facilitate this.
We will be available to you the first 10 minutes and/or the last 10 minutes of each session to discuss new areas of focus and progress as appropriate.
There is no minimum commitment to tutoring sessions, however the best results are achieved when a regular and consistent approach to tutoring is followed.
